Victoria County Council (am_2333)
The Victoria County Council was formed to represent the rural parishes of Grand Falls, Drummond, New
Denmark, Plaster Rock, Aroostook, Perth, Lorne, Gordon and Andover. The Council received financial
aid from the Province and important decisions were made there concerning roads and other public
services. Varied recordings were noted by the Council of the County which dealt with the birth and
death statistics, among other things. In 19?, the Council included the following members: Samuel W.
Beaulieu is the fourth of the first row to the left. The County Councils were abolished by Louis J.
