A night under the stars

for the "Débrouillards" Rachel Cyr

Eight 8 / 10 year olds with their two monitors

put up their tents in my backyard

for a "Night under the stars"!

Mars was the special attraction which we viewed

through Pascal's 3" Newtonian telescope,

which he put up all by himself,

then with the 11 x 80 binoculars and finally

we looked through my 12" Meade LX-200 telescope

for more details on the planet!

The craters on the Moon brought some Aahs!

and Wows! before they all turned in for the night.

All happily welcomed the warmth of the

morning Sun, after a night of about 0°C!
